Harmonix has recently opened up the Rock Band Network, which allows just about anyone in the world to put their crappy band up for sale on Rock Band 2.

Will Rock Band 3 support the Rock Band Network? Will every single one of our songs we’ve purchased follow to the next game? You bet your sweet ass it will (and if it doesn’t we are busting some skulls).

And as 2009 winds down, the Gods of Plastic Instrument development bring us yet more colored circles/rectangles to eliminate at a rapid pace. We are greeted with two casual games for both young and old plastic rock stars alike, as well as the debut of Van Halen in their own branded Guitar Hero video game…

And amidst all of the madness, a new beast looms its plastic turntable head…DJ Hero has landed and has caused quite a stir in the video game universe.

Sure, Guitar Hero 5 came out like a year ago, but who cares! Once upon a time, Starpower Podcast had the brilliant idea of releasing a single episode featuring two separate games, but because both recordings & games are made of hot, sweaty awesomeness we decided to split them into two separate releases.
