Starpower Main & Guest Hosts
From the frozen tundra of LOLCANADA, Elliott is the backbone of Starpower Podcast with his constant Googling of plastic instrument news and far too many posts on Scorehero’s forums. Elliott would like to remind you that Nine Inch Nails, Tool and Radiohead are the three greatest bands of all time.
Hailing from the great state of New York and currently risiding in Lexington, Kentucky, Frankie B joined the crew in the spring of 2008 after taking over the design and development of StarpowerPodcast.com. Frankie is a full-time graphic artist and web developer & also does freelance work.
Also from that great expanse just north of the U.S.A. known as Hoth, John founded the podcast along with Elliott, Mark, Rob and Jed. John now has full-fledged family, a career, and thus not a lot of time to keep up with the 25 odd rhythm games coming out each year! He still drops by on occasion to add his personal brand of humor to the show.
One of the original hosts of Starpower Podcast, Mark is the deep, sexy voice that we’ve all grown to know and love. The Alabama native recently came in 2nd place for The World’s Most Interesting Man contest, due to his vast knowledge of all things music and ability to survive car crashes that would kill most men instantly.
One of the original Starpower hosts, Rob lives just south of Green Bay, Wisconsin. After gaining some notoriety for early Rock Band vocals, Rob has become the Rock Band fanboy on the podcast. Besides plastic instruments, Rob FC’s Macintosh computer repair, wedding DJ/singing, hosting Rock Band Bar Nights and acting (pictured as Clarence in It’s a Wonderful Life).
Representing London, Ontario, Sean comes from a strong musical and DDR/ITG background. He is currently a double world record holder for the longest Rock Band drum marathons and is currently Director of Development for Rhythm Authors, as well as a ScoreHero moderator for many years now.
Jed likes bowling, Metallica, Iron Maiden, bowling, Bob Dylan, children’s theaters and bowling. He also enjoys slamming his nuts in drawers and more than likely hates you. To this day Jed Lottery 2 is the dirtiest, longest podcast in Starpower history and is considered by many to be one of our best episodes ever.
If you’re not familiar with who Micah is and his hilariously funny Guitar Hero related videos on YouTube, then you must be educated. Micah, hailing from Chicago, has been and continues to be an awesome guest host to many episodes of Starpower Podcast. We strongly encourage you to check out his YouTube channel as well as all of Micah’s previous appearances on Starpower.
You can’t even say Guitar Hero 2 without thinking of HellAshes. With an impressive list of first FCs most notably Hangar 18, Six, and of course Jordan, HellAshes gave the Scorehero community their first “Impossible FC”. He also went on to win a brand new car for a Guitar Hero 3 contest (appearing live on Attack of The Show). HellAshes also plays real guitar, is on the staff of Rhythm Authors and is sponsored by vVv Gaming.
From Los Angeles, California, James has been around Scorehero since the early Guitar Hero 1 days and is arguably one of the best players in the world. However, due to the fact that he tries to entertain his viewers with his own brand of humor, he is often bashed for being annoying and/or a douchebag. With his foray into vlogging, James has managed to land himself a YouTube parternship and various sponsorships.
Hailing from the great state of KAH-LI-FOR-NYUH, home of Governators and more sunshine than most of you know what to do with, Jordan has been patrolling the RedOctane/Guitar Hero/Activision/DJ Hero/Band Hero circuit for five years. When he’s not thrashing the plastic axe or spinning the wheels of faux-steel, you can find him at 525 W. Santa Clara Street, San Jose, CA 95113, in Section 209, Row 13, Seat 1.
The man, the myth, the legend, the reason your fingers cramp while playing Through the Fire and Flames on Guitar Hero 3. Chris Vance is a note tracker for Neversoft and is the fall guy for every single chart that you don’t like in a plastic instrument game. If Chris is on a podcast, expect there to be a lot to laugh about.
